Questions owners ask us
Do I need a payment gateway?
No. Guests pay by UPI straight to your own UPI ID using a QR code TheNammaStay generates. Your staff confirm the payment in your bank app and enter the transaction ID (UTR). There are no gateway fees.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. TheNammaStay runs in any modern browser on Android, iPhone, tablets and laptops. There’s nothing to install, and your whole team sees the same live data.
How is my guests’ ID data protected?
Aadhaar numbers are stored masked (last 4 digits only), ID photos are kept in private storage and deleted automatically after the period you choose, and staff only see what their role allows.
Can my staff have limited access?
Yes. There are four roles — owner, manager, front desk and accountant. For example, an accountant can see payments and reports but not guest ID documents.
Can I manage more than one property?
Yes. One login can belong to several properties, and you switch between them from the menu. Each property keeps its own rooms, rates, team and reports.
How much does it cost?
One flat monthly price per property, based on its type and size — see Pricing above. The core plan includes unlimited staff and bookings; Housekeeping is an optional ₹880/month add-on. There are no per-booking or per-guest fees.
What happens after the free trial?
Pay for a month or a year by UPI from the Billing tab in Settings and enter the transaction ID — we confirm it and your access continues. If you don’t renew, your data stays safe and visible; only new bookings pause until you do.
Can I try it before paying?
